Accessibility
QubitRank should be easy to read and use for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards, zoom or high-contrast settings.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we check pages before they're published.
What we've built in
- Text and background colours meet contrast requirements in both light and dark mode.
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Rankings are real tables with headings, so screen readers can read them row by row.
- Up and down arrows are also announced in words (for example "up 2").
- Charts and coloured dots also show the number they represent.
- The leaders ticker pauses when you hover over it, and stops moving if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Pages work without scripts: all ranking tables are shown together.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
Known limitations
Some sources we link to, such as scientific papers and company pages, are outside our control and may not be fully accessible.
