IBM
IBM builds superconducting quantum processors on silicon wafers and runs them in its own data centres and at partner sites, offering access through the IBM Quantum cloud and installing systems on site. Its current chips hold 120 to 156 qubits. IBM's error-correction plan relies on a family of codes (qLDPC) that need extra long-range links between qubits on a chip, which its experimental Loon processor was built to test. It publishes a detailed year-by-year roadmap, which makes its delivery record easy to check.
Where it ranks this month
Best place in each race, from QubitBenchmark release 2026-11.1.
